Setting Up Your Device via Trezor.io/Start

Unbox & Inspect
Before connecting anything, inspect the packaging. Your Trezor should arrive with a holographic seal over the USB port (Model T) or on the box opening (Model One). If this seal is broken or looks tampered with, contact support immediately.
Install Trezor Suite
Navigate to the official download page. Trezor Suite is the interface you will use to manage your portfolio. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Download AppConnect & Update Firmware
Connect your Trezor to your computer using the provided USB cable. Open Trezor Suite. The app will detect your device and prompt you to install the latest firmware. This ensures you have the latest security patches.
Create Wallet & Backup
Select "Create New Wallet". Your device will generate a unique Recovery Seed (12 to 24 words). Write these down on the provided recovery cards. Do not take a photo or type them into a computer. This physical backup is your only way to recover funds if the device is lost.
